This is a special trip designed for one of nature’s biggest annual events – The Great Migration . Every year millions of Wildebeest & Zebra cross the border for greener pastures and trace the rains in the Eastern African Region . They journey for days together cross the Mara River where on one end hungry Nile crocodile eagerly wait for them to cross , on the other end ferocious Lions and other predators wait for the weak ones to be left behind so that they can be easily attacked . Hundreds of Wildebeests & Zebras die in this crossing but it is one of the most important events to maintain the balance of our ecosystem on this beautiful planet . The Mara River indeed is one of the most important places apart from Grumeti river [ Tanzania ] to witness this huge event . Since the drama unfolds around the Mara River we take you to see both sides of the Mara River [ Kenya side & Tanzania side ] along with the Grumeti River area . You can stay in Camps and enjoy bush breakfast or dinners or stay in luxurious Lodges . The best time to see the migration is July , August though it all depends on the East Africa rainfall . The wildebeest then travel back to Tanzania during the birthing season .

Another Day in Masai Mara
Another exciting day at the Mara River lined up for you so that you don’t miss to see the zebras and wildebeest in action in this annual event of Great Migration . The camp here organises fantastic breakfast and dinners right at the banks of the Mara River so even while you are dinning you don’t miss any action as animals are unpredictable and they don’t follow any timetables .
Today is going to be a very special morning as you will experience the sunrise while flying over the Masai Mara Reserve . Early in the morning you will drive to the point from where the balloon takes off . While the pilot prepares for the flight you can experience standing in the middle of the jungle with wilderness all around you , a very thrilling experience . When the ride is ready you take off and enjoy breath-taking views of Masai Mara and flying over herds of elephants and lions . You will see a beautiful horizon upon sunrise and during the Great Migration months sights of herds of zebra and wildebeest crossing are common while you fly over them , needless to say a spectacular sight . After the Hot Air Balloon ride you will head straight away for a scrumptious bush breakfast cooked right there at a safe spot away from animals but still in the middle of the jungle . Truly a magical experience .

Today enjoy the day to the fullest as it will be your last day to witness the Great Migration Expedition of this year . The camp will keep an eye out at the Mara River for you at the same time you can drive around Masai to witness the big Cats . The guides make sure that you have spotted the big 5 – African Elephant , Lion , Buffalo , Black Rhinoceros , Leopard in this expedition along with witnessing a hunt , chase and herds crossing in large numbers so that you would experience the best on this voyage to one of World’s biggest event – The Great Migration .
You could also get to visit a Masai Village and see how the tribe lives along with their traditional houses and art work which also makes a good souvenir to take back home . The Masai people have their unique style of welcoming you by jumping and singing to you . You will be amazed to see how in the simplest form of existence they are happy and content within themselves . In the village they also have their own school and their ways of curing health problems . They also use the oldest method to create fire through stones and have no electricity in their village , lastly how they protect their cows from Lions and other wild animals around as their village has no fences . Existence in the most basic form !
