Udaipur City Palace is one of the architectural marvels of Rajasthan, located peacefully on the banks of Lake Pichola.A boat ride in Lake Pichola is a Must-do magical activity for every Visitor.Jagdish Temple is one of the famous temples of Udaipur. Located in the City Palace complex of Udaipur, this temple is made in the Indo-Aryan style of architecture. In 1651, Jagdish temple was built by Maharana Jagat Singh, who ruled Udaipur during 1628-53. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu.There are some beautiful Ghats close to the City Palce like the Gangaur Ghat and the Ambrai Ghat. Another attraction is the Karni Mata temple.Karni Mata Ropeway serves as a boon for the people who intend to visit the historical locations at the Machhala Hill and the renowned Karni Mata Temple. In the previous days people used to strive hard and climb numerous stairs in order to seek blessings of the Goddess, with the construction of Ropeway, several worshippers who were unable to climb up the stairs, fulfilled their wish by travelling in the ropeway up hill.Also Bagore ki Haveli,a 5 mins walk from Jagdish Temple is a perfect place to see Rajasthani Folk Dance in the evening.

This palace known as Jagmandir or Jag Island Palace is located on the southern side of the lake and occupies the island with the same name known as Jag Island. This garden was constructed by maharaja Sangram Singh ll between the years 1710 to 1734 . He constructed this garden for the 48 girls who came with his wife in their marriage. The garden is adorned in Indian and English style of architecture. One can find lush green vegetation, plants and vibrant flowers in the garden, along with alluring marble work and beautiful fountains which will make you drown in the pond of tranquillity.Shilpgram Udaipur (The Craft Village), Situated 3 kms west of Udaipur is the Rural Arts and Crafts Complex. Spread over an undulating terrain of 130 bighas (70 Acres) of land and surrounded by the Aravallies, the Rural Arts and Crafts Complex is conceived as a living enthnographic museum to depict the lifestyles of the folk and tribal people of the West Zone.Another attraction is the Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandal which has puppet shows and is a Folk-Art Museum.

Animals like Tiger, Sambar, Striped Hyena, Lion, Indian Porcupine, Common Fox, Sloth Bear, Chital, Blackbuck, Jackal, Chousingha, Chinkara, White Tiger can be seen.Badi Lake is a hidden gem in Udaipur,the lake looks spectacular from Bahubali Hills and to get to the top requires a small trek,the views from the top are something not to be missed.

We had a fantastic 2 day trip to Udaipur.We stayed at the famous Taj Lake Palace which is a 275 years old white marble Palace in the middle of Lake Pichola.We also went around the City and explored the Top Attractions in Udaipur....

Best Time to Visit Udaipur is September to March . Other months climate could be Hot and Humid but it could be some off-season discounts that you could take advantage of during the off Season
Udaipur has a good Bus system, Private Cabs also easily available . Ola/Uber too run here in a good systematic way. A boat Ride in Lake Pichola is a must-do for anyone who visits Udaipur and the Boat Ride costs approx Rs 500 per adult and lesser for Kids.
