Mehrangarh Fort holds the pride of place in Jodhpur because of its splendid architecture and the diverse history associated with it.The fort is spread over an area of 5 km and is built on 125 m high hill in the outskirts of Jodhpur city.Beautiful memorial in marble often described as the “Taj Mahal of Marwar” was built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singhjill of Jodhpur.Jaswant Thada is close to the Fort and there is a Museum in Jaswant Thada displaying portraits of Marwar rulers .The Ranisar and Padamsar lakes are adjoining lakes in the metropolis of Jodhpur built over 500 years ago. They are situated at the rear of the Mehrangarh Fort, close to the Fateh Pol.

Umaid Bhawan Museum
Umaid Bhawan Museum is a beautiful Palace Museum.Named after the king, the palace is today the home of his grandson, Maharaja Gaj Singh II of Jodhpur.The Museum here has also a special collection of antique clocks. The Lifestyle Gallery recalls life in the palace in the ’40s and ’50s with displays of art deco furniture, dining and writing sets, and a special sporting section.This Place is worth a Visit.

Masuria Hill Garden and Temple
Located atop Masuria hill amidst the Jodhpur main city, Masuria garden is one of the finest and famous gardens of Jodhpur. Most striking feature of the garden is that from here one can see the beautiful panorama of the city. View of blue houses amidst the golden desert colors the cityscape. The garden is quite popular amongst the devotees because here one can see a centuries-old temple dedicated to Baba Ramdev, a local deity. We went to the historic City of Jodhpur and as a family we really enjoyed alot.We tried the traditional Rajasthani Cuisine and some interesting activities and sightseeing when we were in Jodhpur....

Best Time to Visit Jodhpur is from October to March.
Jodhpur is about 250 to 280 Kms from Udaipur and Jaisalmer so it would be 5 hours Drive from these Cities.Nearest International Airport is Delhi.Inside Jodhpur Local Taxi,Rickshaws are a good and economical way to see places around.Apart from this the Ola/Uber Services are also there in the City.
