If You visit those places you could see many top chocolatiers in the city and see how they make their gourmet chocolate and also do try several varieties. Also you could try to go to several bars/pubs and try more than 6 types of traditional Belgian brews plus cheese and cured meats , a great combination if you take a Pub Crawl Experience .You can explore this City by starting from Grand Place the Historic and Magnificent Place which is just like its name ‘Grand’. Around this place at walking Distance there are many Monuments , Museums and beautiful Gardens & Parks given below along with distance for your convenience along with few Kids Activities so you can plan accordingly what you would like to do when in Brussels .
Travel Tip – Many Cafes ,Chocolate & Waffles Boutiques where they have Chocolate Tasting , many types of Belgian Beer Tasting and Variety of Waffles is around Grand Place itself . Around Mid- August Flower Carpet is laid at City Hall Brussels right at the heart of Brussels, International Flower Arrangement Event takes place . Atomium & Walkable Attractions
There are other most popular attractions in the city like Mini-Europe & Atomium which are just next to each other . Mini Europe is miniature version of all the important landmarks of Europe and Uk. The views from top of Atomium are very scenic and give you a great Ariel view of the city. You could also take the hop on hop off bus . Self-guided 1.30 hour loop that is very informative telling us the history of this place and also showing us all the important landmark places of brussels. Blue line bus also takes you to the Mini-Europe park. This bus stops at grand palace too so it makes it convenient for you to take this Bus . The hop on hop off bus ticket is valid for the entire day . Around Mini- Europe and Atomium we have listed down many places
Travel Tip – If you visit in January you could attend the Brussels Expo which is fantastic and held close to Atomium . Hop On Hop Off Bus takes you around the City also stops close to Grand Place & Atomium / Mini-Europe completing a Loop , good way to go around Brussels

See Other Belgian Cities not too far away from Brussels just a short Train Ride away . You can go there explore the City and Return back to Brussels. This can be done on Your Own or by Guided Tours . Bruges is one of the most enchanting cities in Europe. Its quaint streets and canals make it very romantic , you definitely get the feel of Venice when in Bruges often called Venice of the North .
Travel Tip – A train ride for 1 to 1.5 hour will take you to other Belgian Cities like Bruges , Antwerp & Ghent and not too far away is Luxembourg [2.5 hours train ride ] . If you have not Visited Amsterdam , Paris or Rotterdam or Cologne [ Germany ] that is also just 2 hours Train ride from Brussels .

On our trip to Amsterdam we couldn't gather time to stay in Brussels so we decided to do a Day Trip to Brussels from Amsterdam and return back in the Evening . The Train Ride is about 2 Hours from Amsterdam Central Station . The Trains in Europe have such a fantastic Network of Trains and the seats are so comfortable that makes the Journey a pleasant One ....
