 Today after Morning Game Drive or Hot Air Balloon you will drive to Lake Nakuru Head to Lake Nakuru today from Masai Mara . The Lake Nakuru Reserve is home to Warthogs , Leopards , Reedbucks , waterbucks . The park also has many white and black Rhinos specially at the Southern end of the Park . The Park is also known as Ornithologist’s delight for more than 400 species of birds that are found here . Boat rides are recommended to spot flamingos and African fish eagles that surround the lake .

8. Game Drive & Transfer to Lake Nakuru

Today is going to be a very special morning as you will experience the sunrise while flying over the Masai Mara Reserve . Early in the morning you will be driven to the point from where the balloon takes off . While the pilot prepares for the flight you can experience standing in the middle of the jungle with wilderness all around you , a very thrilling experience . When the ride is ready you take off and enjoy breath-taking views of Masai Mara and flying over herds of elephants and lions .

You will see a beautiful horizon upon sunrise and if the wind permits also fly over Mara River , crossing used by millions of wildebeest during the Great Migration . Even if you don’t get to fly over it later on the guide will take you to the river and show you some beautiful spots and Nile crocodiles that fill the Mara River . After the Hot Air Balloon ride you will head straight away for a scrumptious bush breakfast cooked right there at a safe spot away from animals but still in the middle of the jungle . 10. Lake Naivasha Stay

Optionally you can choose to visit Mt Longonot which is not too far from Lake Naivasha . Once an active Volcano now this doormat Volcano has fantastic views . This mountain has the best hiking trails all the way up to the Crater with scenic views . You could also try a picnic lunch at the top . The journey up and down would be around 4 to 5 hours but worth trying for people who love to hike & walk . Another option is Hell’s gate where you could enjoy a game drive , trek , attempt rock climbing or simply enjoy the beautiful landscape while cycling . You could cycle right up-to the Gorges making this the only park in Kenya where climbing , biking and walking all together are allowed.

Today get transferred from Lake Naivasha to Arusha Region near the Tanzania Namanga Border and rest of the day spend admiring the scenery at leisure . Check in the hotel and relax . Please Note that sometimes it takes 2 to 3 hours to complete the formalities at the border during road-trip . Cross the border an get ready for another exciting wildlife adventure while continuing our journey towards Serengeti Park .

Today while continuing our journey to Serengeti we cross the famous Lake Manyara National Park which is between the Rift Valley and soda lake . Here you do see some unique landscapes and balances around 11 ecosystems , it supports one of the highest biomass densities of mammals in the world . A famous sighting here is the tree climbing lions . So we enjoy the Game viewing here and spend some leisure time while admiring the scenic views .

13. Lake Manyara Game Drive & Stay

Today we finally reach the Serengeti Park , one of the largest parks in the whole of African Continent . This is a great place for animal sighting any time of the year but particularly during the wildebeest and zebra migration when millions of wildebeest and zebra cross the river in search of greener pastures , that time of the year is a great spectacle and once in a life time experience . Serengeti is known for endless plains and so the park gets its name from the Maasai Phrase ‘Siringit’ which means endless plains . You can choose to stay in Luxurious tents or beautiful themed fenceless hotels/lodges . Central area and Seronera Area should be chosen for wildlife viewing and stay all -round the year and during migration that is in the month of May should choose Western area of the park [ Grumeti River ] for spectacular views of herds crossing .

14. Serengeti Game Drives & Stay

After a beautiful morning you have your final game drive in Serengeti till afternoon we then head straight away to Ngorongoro Crater after checkout . After reaching we explore the Ngorongoro Crater which is the world’s largest intact Crater . It has a 20 kms diameter and 600 meter long wall . In the centre it has a salt lake and this crater is by far the most densely populated areas when it comes to wildlife so some great sighting opportunities .
