We explore this small town Hill Station near Darjeeling called Mirik.Mirik is a Hill Station not known to many.This small town is only about 50 kms from Darjeeling and about 2 hours drive by Road.Apart from being the paradise it is,also the largest supplier of oranges in West Bengal .


Day 1 - Visited the Beautiful Tea Gardens which are all around Mirik.

Then We explored Mirik Lake.You could do Boating here and Horse Riding as well and also see the Floating Handicraft Market here and Markets around the Lake.


Then we went to Bokar Monastery which is very Close to Mirik Lake .


Bokar Monastery is one of the biggest in West Bengal .


Many Years back Dalai Lama also visited this Place


We Then Visited Swiss Cottages.Though the Cottages are no more Functional,Swiss Cottages – A good Photo Attraction and also you get some Good Views from here


Next Day We explored the Famous Hill Temple Complex Devi Sthan,very beautiful and peaceful Place.

There are many temples here of differnet Gods,Bhagwan Shiva,Kali Mata, Ganesh Bhagwanji and many others


We Stayed in a beautiful Place to experience the Local Life there with breath-taking Views.

We tried to catch a glipmse of Sunrise from Ramitey Dara,a place famous in Locals but due to Fog missed the Sunrise.
