Our Travel of 6 Days in the Paradise called Hawaii

Day 1 – Arrive on this Pacific Island Paradise . – Oahu

Hawaii has 6 beautiful islands . On this trip we covered 2 islands Oahu and Kuai Islands and it was certainly a trip to remember . Here is how we visited these islands in day wise Itinerary .

Stay – You could live in an apartment or Hotel by the Beach . Beach Hotels are more expensive depending on the season .

We stayed in Ilikai Suites & Luxury Hotel , a beautiful Hotel located right at the Waikiki beach . It also had a beautiful balcony .

We just took it easy the rest of the day and chilled out at the Waikiki beach admiring the beautiful skyline of Honolulu

Day 2 – We Explored Honolulu

We went to T Galleria by DFS which is at the Royal Hawaiian Avenue , 15 mins walk from the Hotel and a perfect place to indulge in luxury shopping with so many luxury brands to choose from and that too duty free . So it is certainly a shopper’s delight . During Thanks Giving and Holiday Season they have additional discounts and you can really get a great deal .

First Stop – T Galleria by DFS

Today we took a Green Line Open Trolley Bus cost $25 to see the Diamond Head Crater . It is a beautiful experience to drive inside a Crater formed by Volcanic Activity . You can choose to get down at the Diamond Head do hiking or stop at any of the other stops and get on the next bus again at your own pace and time after exploring the place .

The Green Line Bus also passes by the Honolulu Zoo , home to Komodo Dragons & there is an Aquarium , a good attraction for kids .

Second Stop – Ala Moana Shopping Centre

Then we went to Ala Moana Shopping Centre , an Up-Scale Shopping Mall and it is again a 15 mins walk only from the Hotel , one of the Largest shopping malls in USA that houses many luxury brands .

In the evening we ended our exciting day on the Waikiki Beach .

Day 3 – Travel to Kauai Island [ Garden isle ] by Flight from Oahu Island

Stay near the beautiful Poipu Beach .

Second Stop – Spouting Horn

Hawaii’s Largest Blowhole . It is in the Southern Coast of Kauai . Poipu surf channels into a natural lava tube and releases spouting water that can be as high as 50 feet sometimes . Very popular spot in Kauai .

Third Stop – Waimea Canyon [ Grand Canyon of the Pacific ]

Located on the western side of the Island . Known for the red colour Mountains , Red Soil is a result of erosion . This place is very scenic and a must Visit . You get really tasty Macadamia nuts at the entrance of the Place .

Fourth Stop – Kiahuna Golf Club Restaurant

Last Stop for the Day – Kauai Coffee Company

This Place is a Must Visit for Coffee Lovers . It is a Coffee Plantation having many Varieties of Local Hawaiian Coffee , You can taste different varieties and carry some as Souvenirs for friends & Family who love Coffee .

Day 4 – Second Day on Kauai Island

First Stop - Today we began our trip first by taking the Wailua River Cruise .

We took the River Cruise Boat which is run by the Family Smiths which took us to the Fern Grotto . You could also use Paddle Boats here to enjoy the river . During the Cruise they sing Hawaiian Songs and also do the Hula Dance [ Local Dance ]

Next Stop – Opaekaa Falls , Kauai Island

Beautiful waterfalls which you shouldn’t miss when you are on Kauai Island .

What we Missed at Kauai Island – the Famous Na Pali Coast .

We missed going to Na Pali Coast as you need a day or 2 to add to this trip . Na Pali Coast is the other side of the Island . The famous movie Jurassic Park shows glimpses of Na Pali Coast it the beginning and end [ The Helicopter Ride]. Na Pali Coast is famous for Sailing , beautiful Landscapes and Snorkelling Sites .

Next – Same day Back to Oahu Island , Honolulu

We headed back to Oahu Island and enjoyed the rest of the day on Waikiki Beach and the lagoon at our Hotel .

Day 5 – Atlantis Submarine Ride & Sea Life Hawaii .

Today we took the Largest Passenger submarine ride Atlantis which begins from by a short boat ride to take us to the middle of the sea . Pick up is from Hilton Hawaiian Village Resort at Waikiki Beach . The Submarine takes you more than 128 feet down and it is a 1.5 hour ride . We saw some shipwreck sites , Colourful fishes and Sharks too . It is truly an experience to remember !

Next Stop – Hanauma Bay Lookout

We took the Blue Line Open Trolley Bus and headed to Sea Life Hawaii . The Blue Line Bus Tour is the Panoramic Tour which takes you to the South-Eastern Part of the Island , Oahu . On the way the bus stopped at Hanauma Bay which is the a popular lookout place and famous for snorkel and swimming .

Drive along the Coast On the way to reach Sea Life Park , Makapuu Beach

Next Stop – Sea Life Park .

Famous Place on the Makapuu Beach where you can kiss the Dolphin , Play or even swim with them . This Place is featured in many Hollywood movies including 50 First Dates . So if you are movie Buff or Have kids this is certainly your Place to be . The Drive to reach this place is spectacular with breath-taking Views of the Ocean and you will drive along the Coast .

We enjoyed the Scenic Drive back to the Hotel . In the evening the Hotel has great entertainment options and . There are Fire Shows organised during week-ends on the Waikiki Beach .
