Essel World Bird Park
I was Amazed to see the location, and its fascinating to find this natural beauty habitat in the hustling bustling city of Mumbai. Its located in Essel World Bird Park.
Bird watching is indeed a fun, relaxing and an enjoyable activity .

One can experience it with your friends and family and explore various species of beautiful birds.
Its spread-ed around on 1.5 acre land. This bird park is a residence of 400+ birds with more than 50 different species. Inclusive of the variety of flying birds, Aquatic Birds & Terrestrial Birds.
Over 150 species of special plants and trees have been planted to suit the birds’ natural habitats. Additionally, foggers & misters have been installed to create micro climatic ecological conditions of rainforest habitat. The birds that will catch your eyes are African Grey Parrot, Blue Gold Macaw, Cockatiel, Rainbow Laurakeet, Toucan, Chattering Lory, Sun Conure, California Quail, Golden Pheasant, Ostrich, Black Swan, Carolina Wood Duck and Crowned Crane, among many others.
Its truly incredible to see Birds roaming, flying, swimming freely in their habitat. If you are lucky enough you can be their toy for the free birds where they will sit on your shoulder or head and you will see their playful side.
They also organise some special shows

Rendezvous with Birds where you can interact with the special feathered Friends at their woodpecker Stadium inside the Bird Park.
Also Ostrich walk and feeding where gigantic 6 feet ostriches  walk freely and you can also enjoy their glimpse without fear.
Flap & Snap : Where you can snap with your Feathered Friends.
It is One of cleanliest park with  international standards and care taken by the staff.
Staff at Birdpark are very polite and would guide you throughout the  park.

How to Reach Esselworld Bird park?

Two options to Reach to this exotic place

By Road From Bhyander Auto Would cost you Around Rs.300 Approx from Bhyander station or You can book App Cab from any part of the City.

Or else you can Take a Ferry from Gorai Creek From Borivali 50Rs cost of Ferry. From the esselworld there are buses which ply to and fro towards bird park from where the ferry drops.

Birdpark Tickets Rate  (Entry Fees) : Adults (Height above 4.6 Feet) Cost Rs. 390, Children / Kids (Height above 3.3 to 4.6 feet) Cost Rs. 290 and Senior Citizens (Age Above 60 Years) Cost Rs.190.
