We 3 amigos had our very own time traveling carefree & wholeheartedly enjoying this trip and refreshed ourselves from our Study Routine. We would recommend all friends to visit here but only for a day and here is how you can do it in a small budget.
 

Traveling for us was from ahmedabad to Mount Abu and back, which cost us ₹2100 for 3 persons. We travelled in sleeper Bus one-way and in seater bus the other way.
The other part of travelling was the sightseeing. Being a weekend the rush was more so the prices were hiked. We rented a cab (Mahendra Max SUV) for ₹ 2,000 for all points. It depends on the traveller whether he wants to rent the car or scooty or bike. It's better to rent a car with a driver as he shows all points & temples and also it's safe compared to 2 wheelers. Still if someone wants to be adventurous, Scooty renting is 250-500 depending whether it's a weekday or weekend. The less time you spent on one point more points you cover.


Food over all cost us 1600 for 5 meals in our 2 days one night stay and also the snacks we had at different points. One should try tandoor bites in Abu market. It's really good must try for non vegetarians.We had food like aloo parathas, cheese paratha, onion parathas, egg rice, bhurji pav, chicken tandoori. The market has the chocolate room, Dominos CCD. There is a
gaming zone and fish pedicure place in the market which was crowded.

We didn't Visit Temples because we wanted to spend good time at the Mount top. Sunset point is really beautiful, the picture can only be captured by our eyes forever.You must try softy n rabdi in the market and also enjoy maggi with the soothing wind on the Guru Shikhar point

Travel expenses overall -
Hotel Stay starts from Rs 900 to
Rs 5000. We paid 1,380 for 3 for a hotel which was on Abu road, Palanpur highway (3 kms from the main Mount Abu bus stand)
Our overall expense was Rs 3000/person for 2 days one night . Alcohol is not sold at MRP. So the budget is gonna go little high on that. So dry state walo, going there for this


Food

The only thing which I didn't like was that one has to pay for the sunset point 57 Rs Per person as a traveller and if you are student you pay 25 Rs per student. But we being the students of Gujarat forensic sciences University we showed our id card & entered for free . The only place where we actually used our college card as government card. The breeze at the toad rock was the best part. It was soothing and lovely.
You must try the corn chaat at sunset point, Maggi at guru shikhar
Dal bati at any restaurant there, Tandoori bites for non-vegetarian
Each & every place had the best chai. Maggi lovers & chai lovers will love the feel at each point.
Other things we noticed was the way to walk up to toad rock was inaugurated by Dr. CV Raman, and there is cave where Swami Vivekananda use to meditate.

The headquarters of brahma Kumari is here, there is peace park & a big meditation hall. The best part of Brahma kumaris visit was that their volunteers are very humble, calm & composed. They explain the meaning of each & every poster/ sculptures placed in their museum. They will explain in whichever language you ask. Please spend some time there because it is worth, Go ahead and plan a trip there to enjoy the lovely nature.
