A roadtrip- when you don’t know where you are going is when you are exactly going where you are meant to be going
Vandri lake is approximately an hour from Malad, its somewhere near Vasai and Virar. It is a place which has retained its greenery and serenity . Around 5 in the morning me and my friends decided to go for an adventure which seems hilarious because Mumbai is full of industries and malls which are not much very soothing so then we thought why not drive ourselves to a destination which has no destination and live our lives like never before ! We decided to ditch the old town road to marines for drives and decided to explore the other side of the city. Half sleepy half awake we headed to somewhere where we could be not someone  but ourselves without anyone knowing us .

Its quite surprising the kind of life people live on the outskirts of the city , its more like a small town village set up then our usual urban lifestyle .
We were 5 of us each having google maps to guide the one who was driving because we wonder but we don’t get lost ! What else could be worse then having absolutely no network in the bushy areas ? And hardly and human to guide us to reach the lake .

We kind of skipped our breakfasts for early morning adventure and now we were starving to our death. Luckily we saw a mango tree and each of us fantasied to once pluck fruits from the tree how usually our grandparents did it . The old lady was kind enough to let us pluck the fruits and even give us some breakfast to eat. After an hour and half and hour of being lost we finally reached Vandri Lake. Although it was summer and sun was above our heads there was peace in our mind. It was like we entered a paradise which we never thought exists .The place was magnificent .I wonder why mumbaikars underestimate the outskirts of the city .

I recommend everyone to visit that place and realize the true beauty of nature exists in the trees and lakes and how one must preserve our nature .
