It's a very nice hotel on a hill overlooking Lake Fateh Sagar. We were lucky enough to have been allowed the rare large Princess Suite so it made the experience so much better. The hotel staff was very nice and made us feel welcome. Since we visited in the summer, I did miss a pool !

One of the most hygienic places with good food I have visited in a long time. Let me give a brief review(of restaurant)of the same:- 1.As soon as we entered the premises our temperature was recorded (as to have an update that their is no visitor with high temp) 2. At the restaurant we were greeted by the waiter who sanitized our hands. 3.The washrooms had 2 types of soap and a sanitizer for more hygiene level and it could be observed very clearly that the washrooms were cleaned before some time. 4.Our plates were washed in hot water(in order to kill bacteria) and they were as clear as mirror. 5.The food was cooked in the live kitchen. The chef was wearing mask. 6. Food quality was good and the bread(roti) was served in the paper parcel. 7. They have omitted the physical menu concept instead of that they provide the QR Code which can be scanned from your mobile phone and the menu shall be displayed on your phone. 8. I never saw servers without gloves.

Nestled amidst the Aravali Hills with captivating view of FatehSagar Lake, The Lalit Laxmi Vilas Palace Udaipur showcases the rich history and culture of the vibrant state of Rajasthan. The hotel is located just 4 Kms away from the city centre, 27 Kms from Airport and 5 Kms from Railway Station. Excellent property with excellent view of Fatehsagar lake. Food is also excellent. Services are also very good. Only TV channels are very limited. Visit in Monsoon or in winter Room with lake view are better than suite room.

1. One of the best property in Udaipur location wise. 2.Unfortunately the services are so unsatisfactory and bad especially the food preparation after the outbreak of Covid. The standard is far below what it used to be pre covid time. in fact the preparation is far below the standard of roadside Dhaba. 3. At present avoid staying in this property as the main chefs have not rejoined . 4. AC is ineffective and TV channels are not subscribed. Room cleaning is not done properly, probably they are under staffed.
