Maharana Pratap Memorial is a park in the north of Udaipur in tribute to the King of Merwar Maharana Pratap. He was a 16th century who is best known for fighting the Mughals and for his defeat against them in the Battle of Haldighati. The memorial consists of an equestrian statue of the king set in a beautiful park. The park is fantastically well tended with lots of trees, grass and flowers. It’s not the biggest park in Udaipur, but it’s up a jill and has amazing views of the city. A great place to spend a few hours.
