Description
Mahakaleshwar Temple is one of the famous temples in Udaipur. It is located near the Fateh Sagar Lake, opposite Panna Vilas. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva ( as known as Mahakaal) and its 900 year old temple. According to saints Lord Shiva devotee Guru Gorakhnath worshipped at this religious site.

Aura of temple make you feel relax. The art on stone is great and shows many stories. You can walk around or sit as much long as you want. Behind the temple there's a lake view. A beautiful garden is also there.

Did a quick trip to Mahakaleshwar temple. It was good but could be maintained better. There are so many intricately carved designs but they are turning yellow in some places due to non cleaning and Pigeons are everywhere, even inside Garbagraha of main deity.

The lord shiva ....... temple where the seen of fatahsagar is awsm ....uh have to be visit this place . Tempal is on rani road udaipur .
