Seamless rental and supportive staff. Great for kids. Went with my 6 years old. Tip: Rent a seal instead of penguin support for kids. When tired, Kids can sit on the seal while you slide them.

It was an amazing first ice-skating experience for my frds and I. We were terrified initially as it was hard to coordinate our body movements esp when the floor was so slippery. With much perseverance, we slowly gotten the momentum and began to have fun. For a beginner, a skating aid would definitely help a long way. We'll be back---The Rink!

Turned up at 8:30am to book any of the available the skating slots for the day. Ticket booking opened at 9:30am. We counted ourselves as number 63 in the queue of people actually physically there and thought we would be able book a place at any point during the day. Each slot had 50 places available so you'd think we would comfortably be able to get a place? Well no, turns out each person can book 5 names and all the slots were booked in 10-15 mins. All the signage says come at 9:30am to book your place but informally the staff say you need to be there 7am onwards to get a spot. It is quite unfair to turn up and wait a few hours and still have the possibility to get nothing. And then not able to use the time you've waited to at least book for another day. Not the end of the world for me, but felt sorry for the the parents who brought their kids and waited for nothing. A couple of them were quite angry with management and had discussions. Perhaps they need to have an online booking system or at least make it clear how early you need to get there in order to be able to get a slot to skate.

Remember to check the website for the Public Skating schedule so that you won't be disappointed. May need to go down early to buy tickets and book slot. My kids didn't really enjoy it though, maybe too young to appreciate. But it's good exposure for them and there are skating aids for them to help them skate somewhat.
