Karu’s Indian Banana Leaf Restaurant was established in 1993. We have been based at Upper Bukit Timah Road for the past 23 years. Our Signature dish is Fish Head Curry. We have created Fish Head King Logo because the fish head curry is cooked in a traditional way using the very best quality spices sourced from India. We thank you for supporting us for the past 23 years. Our Karu’s Restaurant has crossed milestones, set records and redefined the food experience! CUISINES Indian, Asian, Singaporean. Authentic flavor of Indian food in Singapore. Tasty and not too spicy. Although I ordered the chicken and mutton, the extra side dishes of veg is enough to fill your stomach. Service is fast and without hassle. Friendly staff. Somewhat crowded but efficient restaurant.

I haven’t had banana leaf curry for a while and finally got to try this establishment for the first time. It’s often packed and you can expect to wait for a seat at peak hours. And I can see why. The curries were excellent. Fish meat was fresh and nicely steamed before mixing with yummy curry. Marsala chicken and mutton curry were also top notch. Right amount of spice and flavour. The free flow rice and vegetables concept is great. One of the better Indian restaurants in my opinion.

Very chill and straightforward place to eat, just a bus stop away! Went to eat fish head curry with my father, and though we ordered a "small", the portion was big enough for 2! My father loves going to this place for many years, recommended to come and try :) Place is air-conditioned and very comfortable atmosphere
