Just want to highlight a heart-warming experience I had at jumbo East Coast. In this case, I didn’t dine at Jumbo but happened to be there seeking shelter on 29th August Sat. My group were nearby at ECP when it started raining heavily, we ran to the nearest shelter which was Jumbo. This gentleman from the restaurant approach us to ask us to safe entry check in and take our temperature while we were there taking shelter. He did pass us a menu but didn’t insist on us ordering since he knew we will be there temporary. However, what touched us next when he brought out a box of disposable poncho for us to take and use. This kind of great hospitality despite us not being customers are things that one will remember. Will definitely bring my family back to Jumbo East Coast to dine there soon!

Ordered the $249++ 4 pax dinner set and was not disappointed by the freshness and tastiness of the food. (I especially enjoyed the starters-a duck salad and fried seafood dish) However a 4 star review is given due to the slow service. There are buttons provided for all the tables to press when service is needed but the buttons are pointless because no staff comes when the button is pressed! I understand that the restaurant may be understaffed but we had to wait 10+ minutes to order our food, and the staff have different roles (serving, ordering) so it’s hard to get the attention of the staff members.

As a crab lover myself, I highly recommend this restaurant. I am usually skeptical about large restaurant chains, but having tried quite a few different crab places, this is so far the best. Don’t bother with other dishes, go for the crab!

Came over for a celebration dinner. Ordered their signature chili crab, salted egg crab and live Boston lobster salad. Firstly the ambience was superb as we were seated by the beach and the weather was great. Service was prompt and professional. The server was very knowledgeable about the food and gave us good recommendations and expectations. Price wise was slightly more expensive but it's worth every dollar for the quality and portion. The lobster salad was fresh, delicious and presentable. Similarly, the chili crab with the fried mantou were simply delicious and flavorful. We ordered a medium sized crab of about 1kg for the two flavors. The salted egg crab was also well prepared. Savory and fragrant were the two words that came into mind when I tasted it. Overall a wonderful dining experience and giving a 5 star rating for it.

Probably the Jumbo outlet I frequent most. The food is really not bad, price is, standard I guess. Standard Jumbo price. The parking here is ok, and the staff is friendly as well. But one thing to note, and also the most important factor to me as well, is the rice. Their rice isn't very well done, so that's my down point.
