Long q formed before opening hours, food was so-so. A bit too sweet for my taste. But a lot of lard crackling. The cockles though is very small.

A plate of char kway teow that is well worth your calories! Hawkers like Mr Tan who have been selling the same dish for 50 years should all be officially acknowledged and given due recognition for their role in shaping Singapore’s hawker culture! CUISINES Asian, Singaporean. Approx cost for two people Rs 544.

One of the best Char Kway Teow in the country and it is up to the reputation. Their kway teow's signature is using the crispy lard bits generously. Expect for long queue!

3 years ago from 2021: Great tasting fried kway teow. Prefer no chilli to taste the sweetness of the noodles. Fried so well each strand of noodles coated with the sauce. Yum! 2021 Jan review: queue is as long but a tad disappointed as the noodles weren’t as moist.

I never had the chance to taste Uncle's. His son however still good. Not overly oily with fragrance of pork fats and appropriate amount of egg. Well done. But the queue....
