Not much to see here. This place is in DESPERATE need of a refresh. It was a terrible experience. 1. The staff were unfriendly and barely around. 2. Out of the entire insect kingdom, the only enclosures with anything inside were the meal worms, cockroaches and stick insects. Every other enclosure is empty. 3. Everything is in awful condition: There is dirt all over the floor, mould on the walls & signs. Even the wooden walkways are close to collapsing. There's just a general feeling that it hasn't been looked after. 4. In the butterfly kingdom, there were perhaps only 3 species of butterflies. I've been to numerous butterfly houses and they somehow manage it. This place has just stopped trying. 5. The whole place is stuffy and hot. Seemed like the air conditioning wasn't even turned on. 6. The lighting is terrible in the museum section. You can barely see the dead insects displayed. 7. There werent much information available beside the enclosure for you to read and learn more about the insects. 8. Repeated displays in the museum just to fill space. Do not go here unless you just what to see a run-down building of dead insects. If I could give it zero stars I would.

A beautiful place to visit. You get to see varieties of beautiful butterflies. You also get to see their full life cycle in front of you. An interesting concept. Do not miss it.

This place looks like it needs a refresh. There's quite a lot of dead butterflies and insects pinned up behind glass enclosures. The exhibits with live specimens have very few species but even with the limited variety, there is hardly any labels to even inform one of what is being displayed.... Could be better

Not much to see here. But still worth coming. I personally love seeing the butterflies up close and personal. Even saw the chrysalis and the new butterflies. After that saw the parrots and fed them (need to purchase at the entry counter or online). And then some insects at Insect World. After which is all air-conditioned with some write-ups, pinups of butterflies and moths and insects. So pretty much a less than an hour thingy, if you wish to plan this into your itinerary.

Just to echo previous reviews, this place is appalling and sadly, it was a terrible experience. Before explaining, I just want to say that all of the staff were friendly and knowledgeable (no concerns there) and the birds seemed healthy and in good condition. However, literally everything else was either dead or decrepit: 1. Out of the entire insect kingdom, only meal worms, cockroaches and stick insects were still alive. Everything else is dead - The beetles and spiders had all been left to die in their boxes. It's horrific in there. 2. Everything is in awful condition: There is dirt all over the floor, mould on the walls & signs. Even the wooden walkways are close to collapsing. There's just a general feeling that it hasn't been looked after. 3. In the butterfly kingdom, there were perhaps only 5-7 butterflies. I've been to numerous butterfly houses and they somehow manage it. This place has just stopped trying. Overall, it's just been left to fall into disrepair. Additionally, I spoke to the manager (Jayson) who promised a refund, but after weeks of emailing with no response or refund, I think he was just lying about any compensation for an awful experience. Do not go here unless you just what to see a run-down building of dead insects. If I could give it zero stars I would.
