As an Indian, one feels very much at home at these temples, as these are close to you since you were taught these heritage narratives in school. The culture is not only known to you but dear too. These temples have the highest hygiene, solemn silence, very sacred atmosphere. You will find these places with a calming balm effect.....

Quiet & peaceful temple. Good place for meditation if you practise meditation. The temple is very well maintained without commercialisation. The historic place with more than 100 years of history with very nice architecture! A must place to visit while you are in Singapore even you are not a Buddhist. Free food will be served on festival days which are delicious. Don't foget to visit upstairs (now closed to visit upstairs due to Covid-19 situation). Still safe to visit as the Temple management & volunteer are very serious of social distancing, hand hygiene & cleaning the places every time a visit leave. I appreciated their efforts to keep all visitors safe from Covid-19 infection. Please enjoy your visit.

My place of refuge for all seasons. Just avoid peak hours and festivities if you need some quiet time for worship.
