Escape from the city life and step into the nature is something that some of us would want to do. Best place to enjoy the nature and escape from your busy life. This is also one of the many places in Singapore that one might consider to do "hiking". The terrains are not that bad, just have to be careful not to disturb the wildlife or to feed them. Many might go there in the morning to escape from the afternoon scorching sun, but the vast amount of trees will keep one cool regardless. The idea timing to go to avoid crowds would be in the afternoon during cooling weather. Evening time would be idea during hotter weather.

Very nice nature reserve. Well maintained and clean. Crowded during weekends and with limited car park lots it is better to take public transport to the location. Bring enough drinking water before going on the hike because there is no food or drinks vendor in the nature reserve. Relatively easy hike as the highest point is only 164m.

Very beautiful trail, quiet, natural and very well managed. Has lot many tracks to reach on top. On the way you can spot monkeys, wild pig, squirrels and many other small creatures. A very good cardiovascular exercise place to be in.

If you are board and looking for people who love to wake early in the morning like around 5am on weekend, there is no place like this place. I mean, there are lots of mosquito, they claim to have animals, mud and the same sight, trees, everywhere you look. Overall, it is pretty average for the first time. Overtime it will be a great place to train your running as you want to get out of there fast.
