Amazing hotel, safe and secure 4 star luxury and yet such a friendly family atmosphere. The staff are all amazing, so helpful, friendly and kind, really make you feel welcome and part of the family. The food is amazing and so much choice, all excellently prepared. I can't recommend this hotel enough, a great place to stay and I can't wait to go back.

We stayed at Hotel Cardinal Royal Retreat on our trip to Shimla and it was great. Location was perfect for walking to everything! Staff was helpful and breakfast was great. Really, no complaints - I would stay there again and recommend it to others."
