Shimla is a set of 5 hills. One of the tall ones is Jhaku hill. Auspicious and very beautiful hill. Covered with snow in winters, and with monkeys and tourists during the rest of the year! Very serene but slightly crowded. You'll have to find a corner if you want quiet. Ample space at the top. One can take ropeway (elders) or hike through the steps or the jungle route (adventurous folks) or just drive. The road are narrow but good. If you are not confident of driving the hills then take a local driver or cab.

Amazing short trekking from the ridge. Not suggesting to take the rope way option. Consider it only if you are with small kids or aged people with you. Else, this short trek is amazing . No words for the big Hanuman at the top. Superb!

Well maintained and a must visit if you're in Shimla. Just make sure you can climb enough stairs and not afraid of monkeys which you'll encounter enough along your way. You can also get the cabs ferrying you up and down, if you're ready to pay 700 for this short trip because you can't drive on your own.

Hill top temple, neat & clean environment, We enjoyed at lot. One can go by walk (1. via steps, 2. Jungle way) or by road (1. self drive, 2 taxi). But I suggest to go by nature to explore / experience the nature. Time required : approx 2-3 hrs Best time to visit : any season except rainy days.
