Nice Location. Limited parking available. I had no problem in parking. Rooms are good with clean toilets. Little more maintenance of apliances required. Staff helping and well behaved. 250 meters away from beach. Nice cafes and pubs all around.

One of the best hotels in Pondicherry. Must try place. If you like beef and turkey you are in for a treat. Kerala style beef starter was awesome. Ambience is great. Much cheaper than other hotels. Must try turkey briyani and turkey vindaloo. Lobster is also a must eat here

Reviewing only the bar/restaurant part of The Richmond, which is known as Bistro Restaurant. The place is well maintained, clean, homely and boasts of polite and courteous staff. The food here is pretty decent with a menu that is a bit generic (i.e not Creole enough or not french enough or not chettinad enough) but what they offer is cooked well and tastes very nice. The staff who are attentive and helpful need just a little better communication. What I liked most about this bar is in spite of being in White Town, it is probably one of the cheapest places to get alcohol in a very family friendly setting. Also their serving size is 60ml, which is such a welcome sight in times like these. Recommended if you want a nice familiar meal with cheap but great alcohol. I'll be returning to try out more.
