Raja Talkies was inaugurated by Chevalier "Shri.Sivaji Ganesan" on Sunday 14th July 1968 with a seating capacity of 1198. The founder of Raja Talkies is "Shri.T.M.Kannaya Chettiar". On those days Raja Talkies is famous for releasing Shivaji films. Above 90% of Shivaji films are being released only at Raja Talkies. As years rolled on
