Description
Pondicherry has something in store for its every visitors, even for the little ones who seem curious with the big and small things in the world. Amongst the major kids-friendly attraction in Pondicherry is the Puducherry Science Centre and Planetarium. This is the place to learn about various theories and scientific facts in an engaging and fun-filled way. Located in Lawspet, the centre was designed and set up by the National Council of Science Museums. Here, children can get acquainted with the basic principles of science through puzzles, games and demonstrations. Students are also offered a chance to conduct various experiments. The planetarium show, however, is the major attraction for both children and adults alike. The Puducherry Science Center and Planetarium presently comprises 6 areas of focus - Science Demonstration Center, Children’s Corner, Marine Life, Fun Science Gallery, Science Park and Digital Planetarium. The Science Demonstration Center is dedicated to conducting live experiments and demonstration to students and visitors with the objective of showing them that science can be fun too.

What to see: Planetarium, Science exhibits, garden walk. Ambience: quite and green Covid measure: very well maintained. (In fact, only public place in entire Puducherry, to take proper and peaceful Covid measures). Science exhibits : interesting but requires proper care and more maintenance. Planaterium show : content was really good but video quality wasn't good. Ticket price: 10 for entry + 20 for show. Overall: requesting people to visit this place more so that enough funds can be raised for proper care of this place. Authorities should take proper care of overall exhibits and maintenance.

THIS PLACE IS A WONDERFUL SITE TO BEHOLD AND THE SHOW IN THE CENTER IS DELEIGHTING BUT MOST OF THE MODELS ARE BROKEN AND USELESS , ALSO THE SHOW IS NOT A VERY CLEAR IN CLARITY
