The eclectic menu consists of fragrant dishes such as Tom Kha Kai, Khmer Roast Chicken, Seafood Sushi Platter, and Holy Basil Cheesecake. The restaurant overlooking the shimmering waters of the Bay of Bengal is designed keeping in mind South East Asian elements. It is an experience you need to have in Pondicherry. Awesome ambience on the rooftop with pleasant evening breeze flowing and the sound of waves soothing your senses. Taste of food is truly remarkable and refreshing. Very helpful staff. Chicken satay and vietnamese rolls have to be tried here. Very happening place and recommend to be as early as possible to get a seat!!

Poor hospitality and customer service (just like major famous restaurants in Pondicherry). When we visited there was waiting, so we wrote down name and gave contact number. The manager said it would take 1 hr and he will call once table is ready. We did not receive any call that night. They just don't care due to continuous flow of customers. The responsiveness, attitude, hospitality is worst. They don't even accept reservations. Pathetic!!

Bay of Buddha is a rooftop restaurant which possibly offers the best view and setting overlooking the Bay of Bengal. The soothing sound of the waves, the cool sea breeze and the warm lighting add to the amazing and romantic dining experience. The menu offers a wide range of mouth watering cuisines, my personal favourite being the Sushi and Green Thai Curry. The staff is also really friendly. Overall I had a very pleasant experience, for this reason I highly recommend going to the Bay of Buddha while you're in Pondicherry.

The ambience ( roof top )is really good but when it comes to the food this is one of the worst restaurants that I have ever been to. Not even a single dish thst we ordered was worth mentioning. The service is really bad and it takes nearly an hour for the dish to be served after placing the order. Eventhough the ambience was good we were not able to enjoy it due to tasteless food and the attitude of the staffs. It was totally disappointing as we are paying so much and they are not meeting our expectation both in terms of food and service. So you guys can consider another hotel ..

Bay of Buddha is a roof top bar & restaurant on the 3rd floor of the promenade hotel alongside the promenade beach serving Pan Asian cuisine. Lovely place for a romantic evening/family and large groups. Priya as our service hostess was excellent and the dishes we ordered were all delicious! The sea breeze which sets in by evening along with the view of the promenade beach is the USP of the place. Should be on your must visit place for food when at white town, pondicherry.
