The Auroville Visitors Centre is a place where day visitors and guests can begin to discover and learn about Auroville, its ideals, history and present-day manifestation, housed in a complex of buildings that include exhibitions, information and guest reception, boutiques for Auroville products and handicrafts, a bookshop, cafes and a food court.

Lush green campus promoting peace tranquility and inspire people to follow the path of meditation. To get a better experience one should stay at campus guest house and attend various workshop to understand the message auroville is trying to promote. There is shopping mall which promotes handmade products from local communities. Cafeteria at the visitor center is nice and offers variety of food.

Very nice trek. Lots to walk but quite worthy enough. Very serene. Was not allowed inside . Otherwise no entry fee. The whole place is open for all except the main mantrimahal. Must visit place.

A great place to visit and read about the history. Although going inside this temple is not allowed the infrastructure itself is worth watching. They have written about its history and also show you a movie. There is no entry fee you just have to pay for the parking. Grab some good snacks Ice creams and exquisite shakes. The handicraft and shoping places seemed overpriced but there was a good collection.

A good place for a brisk walk and nicely maintained. The 3 boutiques offer good options. Enjoy a quick bite if you want to. I hear the community is quite close knit it takes more than service to join the community.

Loved the place. It was definitely worth the walk. The products we saw their was extraordinary. The matrimandir has a spectacular view from the outside.
