Nice rooms but no lift (that's an elevator for our friends across the pond). Great location right next to the action on walking street

Great location and big rooms but I won't return for a few reasons. First, the rooms are a bit worn. My sheets had holes in them. The towels were very old and rough. These are little things but shouldn't happen for the rates they charge. Second, the older lady at reception was extremely rude for no reason every time I saw her. Maybe she just is racist against white people? She should be fired if management cares about repeat business. I'm sure I'm not the first customer she has driven away. She was also very rude to any guests people had over according to another guest I talked to. Third, they don't have any secure luggage room to leave your luggage. They told me to just leave it in the hall where anyone could go into it without the front desk seeing it. I asked to leave it behind the front desk in the corner which would have been more secure and was out of the way of the staff. The rude lady just yelled cannot. I asked why and she just started yelling at me. It was nuts. It's a shame because this place could be great.
