Very nice and cozy little place! Great place for couple or tranquility.The room was rustic but clean with hot water a fonctional A/C. The portion of the food was small but tasted good and a good variety off food. If you like Indian food you will be happy!!! It has no night life here and it's great this way. The busy and party town of Pattaya is only 45 min by boat and is 30 Baht. Once at the pier turn on your left and walk for 15 min you will pass 7/11 on your way and it's half way.

Simple island life with water sports and good beer

We were very disappointed with our stay and room that we booked so we decided to leave days early. We booked a 7 person room which looked beautiful on the photos. Unfortunately it was not what we expected. On arrival the staff were unwelcoming and unhappy (not one smile from anyone) and left us sitting for 30 mins hot with the children with no explanation- it was just to wait for our room for one hour. Only when we asked we found out what we were waiting for!!! so we had lunch while we waited, which unfortunately was over priced. The room we booked was The Plyfan house and is probably the oldest cottage there- the windows are old and do not close properly. You can see rubbish and food outside the windows. They have never been cleaned, and have huge gaps in them. The house was full of flies so we sprayed fly spray and went to the BUSY beach. On our return after dinner we found 3 dead large cockroaches, that we took to reception. No one apologised and said no spare rooms were available. So we went back to our room, and another cockroach ran across our bedroom- that again we took to reception. so then a man- possibly manager helped us move to a smaller room, and made up a mattress for the kids on the floor. We popped back to the old apartment in the morning to find another 3 cockroaches in the bathroom ! We left that morning, didn’t have breakfast and again not one apology. The overall style and decoration of the properties are beautiful, and we feel very sad that they are not looked after and maintained. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone Untill they update their properties, and train their staff to be more welcoming.
