Not a good first impression. Was refused entry from the Beach Road and forced to negotiate traffic jams to go around to the front entrance. This despite there being no apparent reason why we couldn't use the Beach Road entrance, it goes straight to the car park - perhaps it was just too convenient? Needless hassle basically. Not the place it used to be, used to stand out for the atmosphere and service minded attitude but seems like the bean counters have put a stop to all that. Now it's just a mid range hotel charging a high price for its famous name.

The hotel is just great! The staff is friendly, everything is clean and the food is perfect. Close to everything you need. When you cross the road you can find 3 massage salons with a good service and cheap price.

Very good, trend starting hotel on beach road. Night party (foam party) a must - super cool. Staff very supportive, services also good. Breakfast spread very good. Live counters at buffet breakfast prompt and attentive.

Professionally run hotel. Good amenities and tidy, clean rooms. Downside is a lot of noisy 'large tour' guests staying running between rooms. Give it a go..
