Pattaya Fitness Park (Chaloem Phrakiat Park) sits on a hilly spot about 1.5 km away from the beach and also serves as a central point for some 'runseeing' in the area nearby. Sloping, shaded park with city & sea views & resident squirrels & monkeys, popular with joggers.

Unimpressive as a tourist attraction in my humble opinion. But apparently bus loads of foreigners disagreed, and thronged it this Saturday afternoon. Loud talking tourists, and loud spiritual music on loud speakers. I have enjoyed it more as a Buddhist shrine when it is off the busy times, pleasant, quiet and reflective.

All sports equipment trashed and have been removed. There's not even a single pull-up bar Left in the huge park which serves thousands of people daily. It's really a shame on whoever is responsible for there !
