Description
Ban Amphur is a fairly wide beach bordered by a breakwater / jetty on it's northern edge and rocky headland to the south, some areas of the beach shoreline are quite steep but quickly level and the water is not too deep despite the deceptive appearance, it's an ideal beach for paddling. Expansive ocean beach offering calm waters for swimming, chair rentals & a kids' playground.

A little dirty with small bits of trash in the sand and water. Mostly pleasent, though. Water was quite clear with ~5m visibility from close to shore. Able to see the bottom even 200m away from beach.

Nice place. There is play ground for babies, good food and you can Just relax and enjoy sunset at the beach..

First time for me to be here for Thailand Swimathon. It was amazing and the people really friendly. Will be coming back next year for more.

Quite good beach. A bit crowded down by the car park. A lot of easy going local food places on the beach and in the village nearby. Easy for me since it's a 1 minute walk from our place lol so it's great for a sunset bbq. If you do visit, please take your rubbish with you. And if you want to be a local hero, then take more rubbish away than what you bring. This way maybe we can keep it reasonable for everyone to enjoy.

Not the best beach in Thailand, but pleasant enough. Nothing there really except for a couple of market stalls mainly selling cold drinks. It's not really a tourist beach, but ok.
