There are at least 4 A-star hotels in this location in Pattaya, and some of the photos here in google are not of A-one Star Hotel. This is the smaller hotel compared to the big A-star that is built like a cruise ship. There is a self-check in kiosk for prepaid guests, which is a great idea but did not really work for me as the room card key that was issued by the kiosk could not activate the lift button. My room was just next to the swimming pool on the 4th floor, and really, the hotel should not sell this room at all. Interior was small but was acceptable given the attractive price. No toothbrush set given. Room safe, TV, fridge, and 2 free bottles of water per day. Convenient location. Nothing to shout about. I would not come back here simply because there are so many choices in Pattaya.

Located very conveniently between beach road and second road and is a very well maintained property. However, rooms are very small. Even the bathrooms are squeezy. A little more space in toilets would have made this place earn a star more. Their breakfast buffet has a huge spread which has Indian, Japanese, Chinese, Thai and continental breakfast options and are very delicious. Wouldn't mind going back, but would ensure to take a little spacious room.

Overall poor room design. One of the worst I've seen in south-east Asia. The bed design is terrible. I can't believe nobody has mentioned it. Located a short distance above the bed is a large hard plastic shelf that is very easy to hit your head on when moving in and out of the bed. Stupid design. There is also no power outlet near the table, so forget about charging your phone or being able to do any work. The shower is almost impossible to enter due to the large door size. Also, the shower is not located within the bathroom.. Strange.

Congested rooms, not much space, no complimentary breakfast, washroom is not up to the mark, bed are very small, horrible experience. Not recommended. Just waste of money.

Excellent staff. Very professional. Took special care of our needs. Location of the property is also apt to go around Pattaya. Rooms are cozy and well lit. They have a good pool to lay back and enjoy the brisk sun.
