The Grand Gallery of Evolution (Grande Galerie de l'Évolution) displays only a small part of the great historical collections of the former Gallery of Zoology: 9,500 specimens are on display out of 75 million kept by the museum (including 40 million insects, 1 million of fish, 80,000 birds and mammals).

Best place for kids and family. Kids loved very much. A day can be spend here. A very well organised areas. I didn't find English guide or probably I missed it. With the botanical garden, and other areas a place recommend for nature lovers, and family. Going earlier is better because of crowd and have to stand in a queue for hours

Stunning!! Beautiful building over several floors. Displays are wonderful. Only downside is all the information on the signs is in French, so not the most English friendly museum. Still amazing to look around though and a reasonable price. Set in beautiful gardens.

Absolutely amazing. We just happened to past by and thought it looked interesting but if you are in Paris you should plan a visit. There are soooooo many specimens and things to see. The building itself is incredible and so beautiful. Very easy to navigate. I highly recommend going and the staff was so nice.

Loved it! The room with all the animals was brilliant and like nothing I've seen before. Normally the animals in museums are within cases so this was a really nice touch. The kids loved it here too

Beautiful building and great place for kids and adults. The cashier was speaking English but not sure he fully understood us. A lot to learn and you can find translation sometime in English. The atmosphere inside the building is great with the special sound effects. The main museum was very good, we did payed for the Oceanic one but don't think that one was worthy( very small and not much to see). We did have a good time there. The only thing will be the safety guards need to spend less time on their phone and maybe smile more, but when you in France everyone is moody so you get use to it :).
