Chances upon the place upon seeing that it had high ratings. My family was sorely disappointed that the steak wasn’t done well, and was undercooked. It definitely isn’t worth the €27.50 price tag per steak. Having been to Paris thrice, it’s the first meal that disappointed me thus far.

Super good entrecôte and service, a very nice small antique restaurant. Fully recommended.

The duck, potato gratin, and French fries were amazing 5/5 stars! If you go here I highly recommend the duck. The French style grilled steak was a little disappointing for a 27 euro steak. There was a lot of fat and didn’t have that much flavor. All of the main dish menu items for lunch, when we went, were above 25 euros.

My sea scallops were fantastic—5/5. My wife ordered the grilled rib steak (ribeye?) and while it was cooked to perfection, the cut of meat was a disappointment. It was much tougher and more chewy than what we’ve come to expect from our favorite restaurants in the States. The flavor was good though, and fries were delicious. Overall we had a good dining experience here and our server was great. The atmosphere was very nice—quiet, intimate, and cozy. We appreciated the a/c in the dining room on this blazing hot Paris day.

Every course we had was very very good. The scallops (plat du jour) were perfectly cooked and seasoned, the various meat dishes as well, the fries were far superior to most fries we'd eaten before. The desserts were also great. The pear foam with raspberries in particular was incredibly light and tasty. Service was very friendly, and quick. For instance, we forgot to order wine for the main course and did it when the main courses arrrived. In such situations, often the wine ends up arrriving midway or towards the end of your main course, but here, within less than a minute, they brought us our wine. The same thing happened with an order of fries. Two of us realised how good the fries were and since our own courses did not come with fries, we ordered an extra side of fries. They came very rapidly so we could enjoy them with our main course, not after. The location itself is very central in Paris, close to le Louvre, le Jardin des Tuiileries, etc. and the atmosphere in the restaurant is very cosy - it's tiny, with a vintage style. And finally, all this for a very very reasonable price.
