This place has a very interesting history. Rue Ravignan, it is said that it was there that Napoleon in 1809, tied his horse to a tree to complete on foot his ascent to the top of the hill in order to admire the Chappe telegraph installed on the church Saint-Pierre de Montmartre. This place was very frequented by Parisians who came to drink and dance, and also to eat on a table that can accommodate twelve people, installed on a platform in the branches of the pear tree. Around 1830, rumblings and crackles are heard in the basement mined by plaster quarries and the guinguette must close.
