The ‘Troca’ balcony is a unique vantage point from which to see the Eiffel Tower, which stands opposite, on the other side of the River Seine. Between the curved wings of the imposing Palais de Chaillot - emblematic of the thirties, the terraces and gardens gently slope down to the river and are lined with Caucasian walnut trees and hazel trees, and decorated with gilded bronze statues. Skaters zigzag alongside the jets of water from the 20 water canon in the big ornamental pond, under the gaze of Apollo and Hercules, sculpted onto the pediment of the pavilions.

This is an iconic, tourist spot with a lot of street vendors with Eiffel tower trinkets. It's like a big marble square with a great view of the Eiffel tower. This is the place you come to take your photo with the Eiffel tower in the background.

Even if you haven't heard of this place before you know the photos that you can take from here. One of the best spots to get pics of the Eiffel Tower. Be sure to arrive early to get the place by yourself; it gets crowded FAST

Beautiful place and romantic to visit. Once in Paris....set time a side to visit this place. Use public transport if you want to spend a bit of time here. Parking can be a night mare.

I always visit Place du Trocadero when I am in Paris. I feel you get the best views of the Eiffel Tower from here. It's also always very lively and there are some good restaurants nearby. Le Wilson is one of my favourites.

Iconic, maybe the best view to enjoy the Eiffel tower at any time of the day or night. Simply amazing.
