A lovely place to be for a relaxed day. People can come jog here and also have a small picnic of they want to. There's a river flowing by which adds to the scenery.

The Pierre-Lagravère park, facing the Seine, is dedicated to sports and leisure; it offers walkers, joggers and cyclists varied routes, and children three play areas and a fairground merry-go-round. The Lagravère park is a recent construction that unites former islets that were once separate, including Île Marante and Île du Moulin-Joly, a very popular meeting place in the 18th century. In 1750, Mr. Lecomte, prosecutor at Châtelet, bought the Moulin-Joly estate, so named because of its remarkable wheat mill. He entrusted the development to Claude-Henri Watelet, receiver general of finances, painter, sculptor and writer, whose Essay on the gardens describes the installations carried out at the Moulin-Joly.

Wonderful park; several playgrounds, very well maintained nature, clean, a kids carousel and an odd looking house where a most kind lady sells ice-cream and other goodies. A true recommendation for a beautiful day out !
