Description
The Parc Départemental des Chanteraines , an 82-hectare green lung, extends from Gennevilliers to Villeneuve-la-Garenne. It is a pleasant place to relax or take a walk, with two large ponds, a natural reserve, and large expanses of lawn. There are plenty of activities for adults and children alike.

There were times when I liked this park but now with all the works there, just a very small part of the park is accessible, there is too many people, working sides are not very well secured and I really did not have a good feeling about staying here

This is a delightful narrow gauge railway with diesel fired steam engines. The tickets are 5.50euros and you get a ride of several miles through pretty park land. An enjoyable ride, well worth the price. Also the volunteers running it were enthusiasts. Kids will love it and there is plenty for them to do. Play equipment, carousel ride, cafes, an inner city farm and a riding school. Well worth visiting.

Quite big parc just out of Paris and well connected with buses to the metro line number 13 and rer b. Many paths to work around and two lakes offer nice views. The little farm and pony area are a must to see for children and not only
