Designed by landscape architect Jacques Sgard and built between 1970 and 1978, the departmental park is located in the heart of the commune of Nanterre. Covering an area of 25 ha, this landscaped park is composed of gentle hills traversed by winding paths. Large areas are fully accessible: lawns, playgrounds, tree plantations, water and canal; a floral garden and a plant garden are included. The park is bordered by buildings, including Jacques Kalisz's terraced buildings to the north and Émile Aillaud's cloud towers to the south. Thus, there is no clear separation between the park and the surrounding buildings.

Lovely 20 hectare park, beautifully landscaped, not far from the arche de la Défense. Perfect for a bucolic interlude.
