The museum, housed in little neo-Classical “folly” or pleasure palace, presents the work of Paul Belmondo (1898-1982), a sculptor (primarily) who maintained a devotion to the traditions of 18th-century classicism and antiquity at a time when many of his contemporaries were exploring and creating other movements and inspirations.

This museum really deserves a visit. It was open in 2010, and it is really nice to make a visit on a sunny day, because of the light that goes through the windows. So many works you can see inside, and the ticket is not expensive 7 €. The first floor is really impressive.

Great little sculpture museum in a beautiful building. Free on the first Sunday of every month. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Un beau musée très bien conçu avec de très bonnes explications. Vraiment très bien. J'ai appris beaucoup de choses sur le père de notre Jean-Paul Belmondo national.

Le musée est hébergé dans une très belle folie magnifiquement mise en valeur par les architectes pour accueillir l’œuvre de Paul Belmondo.
