Wonderful experience! Priceless Monets paintings within a aristocratic mansion you can easily spend a few hours or a full day enjoying. Just splendid! If my review has helped you in any way please like it

The Musée Marmottan Monet, located in the 16th arrondissement, houses one of the city's largest Impressionism collections: 100 of Claude Monet's masterpieces (from Impression, Sunrise to the water lilies) as well as numerous works from the artist's personal collection (Gauguin, Guillaumin, Renoir, Sisley, Degas, etc.) 'Grand dame' of Impressionism Berthe Morisot is represented by a number of oil paintings, pastels and watercolours. The Musée Marmottan Monet's temporary exhibitions, held regularly, are one of the highlights of Paris's cultural season.

The museum has a really nice collection of impressionists. Especially the Berthe Morisot paintings are memorable, I hadn't seen much of her before. Under no circumstances should you leave before you found the Monets - it almost happened to us, because you have to go through the museum shop down the stairs, and there are only a few tiny signs with an arrow saying "Monet" pointing into and through the shop!

This is a quaint and easy museum to see in Paris. There are beautiful paintings by Monet and collections from families of Paris who donated them back to the people after their passing. It’s one that was not on our radar until our recent trip. It did not have many tourists and was more for locals from our experience. It was nice to have a place to quietly enjoy the works of many artists including the famous Monet.

A great place for a short tour. Has a very fine collection of Monet and Mondrian. Really liked the presentation where works sharing a same theme but from different stages of the artist are put together. The descriptions to the paintings as well as the audioguide can be improved though.

I loved it. The exposition of Mondrian is very interesting. I enjoyed very much the house and the art work that is displayed.
