A stone's throw from Notre-Dame, come and discover the oldest Indian restaurant in the capital, the Maharajah. Let yourself be overwhelmed by the scent and flavors of North Indian gastronomy. Savor the chef's grilled meats in the tandoor, his famous Lamb curry with aubergine sauce or the house ice cream with spices and pistachio. CUISINES Indian, Sri Lankan. Approx cost for two people Rs 5,049.

We ordered lamb biryani, chicken marsala, and bengan bartha. The lamb biryani had no flavors. It felt like the lamb pieces were just mixed in separately with the rice. The meat itself was hard and. The chicken was extremely hard and almost had that raw chicken taste. The masala was tomato puree with some bell peppers. The eggplant Bertha was the only thing that was good. Overall, we felt like we spent a lot of money on sub-par food.

After 15min waiting waiter didn't come for orders. In restaurant was around 3 buisy tables . This score is only for bad service not for taste of food.
