I was very excited to dine at Le Cinq. This is our (with wife) first visit to Paris and we typically try to hit Michelin restaurants when we travel. However, as the night unfolded, I began to become disenchanted with the entire experience. For a Michelin star restaurant, I have never experienced service so lack luster. At times we waited for over 35 minutes to be attended to (empty drinks). Patrons who spoke French as a first language were doted over and received exemplary service. Admittedly, we do not speak French well. However, this is a Michelin restaurant in an international hotel (Four Seasons). We received better service at smaller bistros (off the beaten path places) in Paris. The palatability of the food was good at best. I would not recommend dinning there unless one wanted to spend 1600 euros and the possibility of being overlooked. We will not be dinning there again. FYI, we dined at Epicure (3 Michelin Stars) in Le Bristol the same week and the service was beyond exceptional!

The food was excellent. In addition the services was great because they made the joyful and comfortable environment with elegant manners for individual of us. The famous sommelier is a nice and humorous person. I really like the Burgundy wine I ordered for my meal.

A gastronomic experience. We celebrated my partner's 75th birthday and the dinner and service were worth the price . The meal lasted 4 hours and enjoyed by all in our party. We were presented with photos at the end and the Chef signed a copy of his book for the birthday boy. Superb

The food was good, but not as great as I would have expected. About half of the dishes were truly wonderful, but several of them were somewhat mediocre. The butter and service were excellent. The water (non-sparkling) was nothing short of disgusting and incurs a substantial surcharge.

Everything was phenomenal. Flavours I’ve never tasted before which was a really exciting experience. Everything was delicious and the staff were really welcoming too.
