There was a heat wave. It was during the Women’s World Cup in France. Paris was O so crowded and O so hot. We were walking from near the Eiffel Tower back to our apartment across the left bank. We said ‘ let’s stop in here and get out of the heat,’. But there was no A/C to be had in Le Bon Marché or in most any other place in Paris, for that matter. It’s a lovely department store. We bought French made housewares as gifts for friends at home. And foods to prepare for our dinner that evening. In its own way, Le Bon Marché was perfect.

My all time favorite department store not only in Paris, also in the world! The best services, friendly staffs, outstanding arts exhibition and all the quality, taste merchandise! Wonderful restaurants, café and supermarket! BEST exclusives ever! I’ve been there more than 200 or 300 times in 5 years living in Paris. I took so many friends & family for shopping at Le Bon Marché.

I love this place, so many items (I was looking for a gift) that can be personalized right there on the spot. If you are a foreigner don’t forget after your purchase to head up to the top floor to get your de-tax form so when you leave France you can get your tax paid back!

A great place to visit....and shop! This is indeed a unique shopping experience. It offers a wide variety of high end goods in a multi-level department store. The quality and style of the clothing is exquisite!

Always a great time, good selection of designer brands. Beautiful space with temporary decorations in association with international artists.
