Positive: Lovely and friendly team, quick check in process and thoughtful card and small gift on arrival. Location: ideal location, walking distance to Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe and 1 minuets to train station (if they are not on strike of course!) Room: we upgraded our room to deluxe at arrival. The room was in the recently renovated area, high ceiling, decent size, nice bathroom and good bed. TV is okay with a few English channels. Not very impressed by: The room had view over the street but it didn’t really make any difference because there is nothing to see! It probably applies to most of hotel rooms in Paris. It was a bit noisy though. Breakfast may sounds a bit over priced at €25 per person for basic continental breakfast, but I guess it’s about right for the neighbourhood. We ordered food from the 24h service to our room, it was shockingly bad. It was cold and without microwave in the room difficult to have more than couple of bites. However they were kind enough to take it off from our bill.

Large room, but dated, poor matras, no free power outlets for laptop charging. And always dissapointing to have to fill out your name etc again on check-in when all info was provided on booking... Update: I stayed here again last night, different room, much better bed, power outlets and didnt need to fill out forms unnecessarily. Would give 4 stars now, but apparently you need to ask for a refurbished room (or get lucky)
