Located in the heart of Paris on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées, the Grand Palais is the iconic monument of the Rmn-GP. Built for the Universal Exhibition in 1900 and dedicated “by the French Republic to the glory of French art”, it was designated as a historic monument in 2000.

As a large event center in Paris, I have always wanted to be able to explore the beautiful inside space during an exhibition. I believe the perfect time came around Christmas time when the interior is transformed into the world's largest indoor ice rink. Coming at night, they had a DJ, two disco balls, and lots of room to skate in a beautifully lit room

The special exhibition space is great. I saw the Toulouse show. Be prepared to pay 15 and then another five for the audio guide. I went in the evening it wasn't too crowded. They have an amazing gift shop at the very end.

Great place to visit. The museum is amazing. Outside the museum there are many places to take good pictures. I loved it.

This is an amazing museum! Architecture wise it is impressive and in the style of many museums in Paris. However, the exhibitions themselves tend to be amazing! I have been to the toulus-lutrak exhibition which was simply fantastic! If you see show that you might might I highly recommend the location! Also, you can buy tickets online and save some time instead of waiting in line, that might be long waiting times for larger exhibitions
