It is one of the best known companies of entomology and taxidermy of Paris. Today, Deyrolle is a shop and a cabinet of curiosities open to the public, a reference in the field of taxidermy, entomology and natural sciences, whose vocation is to show the beauty of Nature. Deyrolle is also involved in pedagogy and art. Located between the Musée d'Orsay and the Musée Maillol, in the very chic 7th arrondissement, Maison Deyrolle is much more than just a shop ... it is a real cabinet of curiosities. Founded in 1831, Deyrolle is a world reference for its expertise as a taxidermist and entomologist. A visit to see the exceptional items on display on the 1st floor of the shop at 46 rue du Bac is an amazing experience. Discover colourful butterflies displayed in boxes, mammals (bears, lions, zebras...) and bird species (swans, ostriches ...) as real as life. Maison Deyrolle is a valuable resource for both scientists and artists and collaborates with many fashion designers, collectors, decorators, photographers and filmmakers.

Probably the coolest shop on the planet. Amazing selection to purchase and an even bigger selection to admire. The staff is extremely helpful and kind, most also speak English so you can ask questions no problem. A MUST visit for Paris!

I LOVE Deyrolle. Hands down one of my favorite shops in Paris. You enter the front door and you're greeted by a awesome garden shop with such cool garden themed goods. Then you ascend to the 1st floor and you are left speechless & in awe of this great treasure. There are what feels like a large zoo of animal species that are ready to be viewed and admired. Along with a great selection of biology books & prints. I Love Deyrolle! A must while in Paris...

This shop is basically a wonder of the world. So many amazing examples of nature from around the world. My girlfriend and I visit every time we’re in Paris and we once spent 2 hours selecting a gorgeous collection of bugs to display that we proudly exhibit in our home in Vancouver.

If you come to paris, best not miss here ! This taxidermist is full of interesting discovery and unusual gift from the french capital !
