Description
The Casino de Paris, located at 16, rue de Clichy, in the 9th arrondissement, is one of the well known music halls of Paris, with a history dating back to the 18th century. Contrary to what the name might suggest, it is a performance venue, not a gambling house. The Casino de Paris is a legendary Parisian music hall. Line Renaud made her debut here as a lead dancer and Serge Gainsbourg achieved recognition here . Today, it is a stage for great chanson French stars and international artists: (Jacques Higelin, Alain Souchon, Ben Harper…) and comic artists (Gad Elmaleh, Muriel Robin, Jamel Debbouze …). the varied programme also includes musicals (Starmania, Chicago…) and surprising shows (Stomp, Arturo Brachetti …).

this is not a casino, and even close to this does not apply, the concert hall here is not bad in principle.

Loved the live performance of 80's music " we will rock you" in french and english at this theatre in the Pigalle area.

Nice space for a concert. Plus, it's fun to bring beer into a swanky concert hall.
