Some of the best salmon I've ever had. Great presentation. Good atmosphere and staff. And yes, right by the Eiffel Tower.

As in "Gustave Eiffel"...a good-sized sidewalk bistro with prized outdoor seating, great service and good food at reasonable Parisian prices, all in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower. A super place to people watch as you dine on Croque de Madame, sip a good beer and enjoy the company of your traveling companions. Please note that this was my first trip to France and the dining prices seemed high. But when one of my friends reminded me that everything, the food, fees, taxes and gratuity are included in the price (beverages are extra, of course), my price shock and pending indigestion evaporated! For instance, I had 2 beers at the airport before we left for France and I paid, with tip, $24...about $6 less than I paid for the meal pictured! Hope this helps.

I strongly DON'T recommend the restaurant, because of animal cruelty. The owner of the restaurant (identified by the waiter like that), bothered by the birds that were driving his customers away, found the best solution to end his problem: he arrested the poor bird in a cardboard box and threw the animal still alive in the trash can next to the restaurant. Then, when he saw that I was taking the bird out of the trash to save it, he still had the courage to argue with me, very aggressively, to justify the cruelty committed with the animal. If they have a bird infestation problem, they must solve it the right way. No live animals can be thrown in the trash, that is torture and cruelty.

Very accommodating place. Wide variety of choice on the menu. Reasonable prices for Paris. Only complaint is toilets could be cleaner and have a seat...

Great spot for various cuisines. Good place to start if you’re new to French cuisine.
